Cutting and Forming of Metallurgical Materials

Cutting and forming of metallurgical materials precede processing of individual units. This preparation consists of several basic operations:

  1. cutting of materials

  2. machining

  3. forming of materials

  4. blasting

  5. assembling

Material cutting

Cutting - we provide a complex range of technologies for flame cutting both on-site and as a part of cooperation. Sheets are cut using oxygen-acetylene and plasma cutting technologies applying MESSER, MGM and VANAD machines.

Sawing - we use saws for cutting profle materials - circular saws for full profiles and band saws for hollow profiles.

Shearing - is another way of cutting used both for plates and profile material. Shearing is performed on the large-sized hydraulic table shears.

Material machining

Chamfering - means machining contact areas of smaller parts before welding. Scarfing is performed manually are mechanically.

Planing - is another way of machining ontact areas for sheets of bigger size.

Milling - means preparation of contact and contour areas.

Boring - for the purpose of increasing process efficiency we perform, if it is technologically possible, boring, screw cutting or reaming parts already at the initial phase.

Material forming

Bending - sheets are bent on press brakes.

Roll bending - is performed on rolls. Once welding of a roll-bend part is finished resizing takes place in order to eliminate deformation caused by welding.

Sheet Rolling - helps to flatten the sheets distorted by flame cutting.

Blasting

Blasting is the final operation in the preparation of the material. The purpose of blasting is to remove eventual burn-off, flakes or rushes.

Assembling

We are ready to complete sets of cut parts according to customer requirements and provide marking of the cut parts by labelling or hard stamping as standard.
