Technical and Production Facilities
Heavy engineering works during the manufacturing of technological complexes and heavy steel structues. Our production facilities enable us to ensure continuality of all manufacturing process from the purchase of material to the assembly of the final product. We provide projects as well as design and technological solutions and realisations.
Weldment work is performed in accordance with ČSN EN 729-2. We weld common and austenite steels as well as non-ferrous metals. Welding quality is controlled by all available methods.
In our plant there is a unique machining shop, where all types of steel structures can be machined, even the most demanding. We perform e.g. circular milling of king-size motion screws, horizontal boring on machines with 26 000 mm travel, vertical boring – with max. revolution diameter of 11 500 mm.
Every manufacturing process finishes with the final surface treatment and painting (possibly anticorrosive coating).
Design and Development Department
The design and development department provides technical assistance in the fields of general repairs and renovation of UNEX and other similar products – mining machinery, cranes, bridges and buildings.
Cutting and Forming of Metallurgical Materials
We are ready to provide further operations of the cut parts includin: machining, heat treatment, surface finishing, and also additional ultrasonic testing.
Welding of Materials
Welding work is controlled and performed in accordance with standard ČSN EN 3834-2. We weld steel materials up to the yield point of S690MPa; we are also able to weld high-alloy austenitic steel or non-ferrous metals including aluminum.
Surface Treatment and Painting
Surface prefinishing (weldment degreasing, blasting), paint application (paint application facilities, paint application equipment).
Completing and product Assembly
Completion of our own and purchased parts, general repairing, assembly works, complete manufacture of heavy weldments.
Non-Destructive Material Testing (NDT)
An experienced and qualified workforce, certificated by an independent certification organization in accordance with EN 473 at LEVEL II, performs all methods (MT, PT, UT, RT) of non-destructive material testing within UNEX a.s.
