The foundry products are an integral part of the UNEX Joint Stock Company offer. Foundry situated in UNEX company in Uničov produces carbon, low-alloy, medium-alloy and high-alloy steel castings in gross weight from 5 kg to 18 tons and nodular iron castings in gross weight from 6,5 kg to 3,5 tons. Castings are widely used in the railway industry, heavy engineering, construction and mining machinery, handling equipment and for others industrial branches. Industrial production capacity is approximately 16000 tons per year. Division in Prakovce in Slovakia produces castings from manganese steel and from nodular and grey cast iron with the weight from 1 kg to 120 kg. Industrial production capacity is approximately 9000 tons per year.

Production plant in Olomouc offers production of castings and forgings in two foundries and one die forge. Foundry 1 produces castings from nodular, grey, malleable and white cast iron with weight from 0.05 kg to 6.5 kg in big series approximately more than 1 000 pieces in production batch. Fittings from malleable cast iron black heart complete the product portfolio. Foundry 2 produces castings from nodular and grey cast iron from 2 kg to 150 kg. Industrial production capacity of both foundries is approximately 16 000 tons per year. Die forgings are part of product group. We produce forgings with the weight of 2-25 kg. Targeted customers of forging shop are in most cases producers of earth-moving and agricultural machines, rail vehicles and cargo truck. Industrial production capacity is approximately 9000 tons per year. |
