Quality Control and Environmental Policy

Basic Information on the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System in UNEX Companies

• UNEX performs activities and has defined procedures resulting from the implemented quality system pursuant to ISO 9001:2008. UNEX holds a valid certificate from TÜV NORD
• UNEX has implemented and applies a quality management system pursuant to ISO 14001:2004. UNEX holds a valid certificate from TÜV NORD

• UNEX has implemented and applies a quality management system pursuant to OHSAS 18001:2007. UNEX holds a valid certificate from TÜV NORD.

• In addition to these certificates, the company is the holder of other certificates, authorizations and certificates specified separately

• The company has defined 12 processes (1 control process, 5 main processes – associated immediately to the execution of products, 6 supporting processes)

• Both systemic and product inspections are carried out at the company’s suppliers. The company requires from them an improvement process in relation to the supplied inputs.  

• The company has qualified personnel to carry out non-destructive testings

• The company has its own chemical and mechanical laboratory that is a member of the Laboratory Association of the Czech Republic

• The company performs its own calibration of length-measuring devices

• The company processes control plans for products of larger series or if it is suitable or required by the customer. Otherwise, the control operations are prescribed in the technological procedure.  

• The company has qualified personnel to control and/or prepare a Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Act No. 22/97 Coll., on technical requirements for products and on changes of and amendments to other acts, as amended

• UNEX has created a register of environmental aspects pursuant to ISO 14001:2004, that is updated regularly

From March 1 to 5, 2010, UNEX  Companies successfully passed an integrated audit comprising a supervisory audit for ISO 9001:20008, ISO 14001:2004,  OHSAS 18 001, ISO 3834-2, ČSN 732601, DIN 18800-7, DIN 15085-2. The integrated audit was carried out by the representatives of the certifying company TÜV NORD Czech, s.r.o. On the basis of the audit results, the auditors suggested the issue of certificates. The issued certificates are valid for the field of: Design, production, assembly and service of machines for surface mining, including belt transport, production of welded steel constructions, cranes, castings, cut parts Working of machinery components.
