Company Profile
The UNEX engineering-metallurgical complex specializes in the development, manufacture, assembly and modernization of bucket wheel excavators, designed for mining of mineral resources. Production ranges from large welded steel structures, to fine machined weldments. Thanks to its own foundries and forge, UNEX is self-sufficient in terms of finished castings and forgings.
History
The Uničov Engineering Works National Enterprise was established in 1949. It was transformed to a private company under the new name of UNEX a.s. in the 1993 voucher privatisation.

By the constant improvement of processes, improvement of reliability and efficiency of production capacities and positive stimulation of all employees we aim to actively exploit the growing market potential and create a strong, mutually yielding partnership with the present as well as new customers.

The management of UNEX a.s. understands and supports the need of increasing customers' requirements for ensuring supplies in requested quality, agreed terms, quantity, at competitive prices and for reducing negative effects on the environment and health of the employees at the same time.
